Pro Tips: Google Alerts

So I wanted to share a very useful dj pro tip with ya’ll. If you’re all tied into the googles, which I recommend highly, the google alerts (www.google.com/alerts) can be a powerful tool for the ‘searching’ for new music on specific sites. In this example I’m using soundcloud but this can be done with a number of music sites (soundcloud, hulkshare, etc) Simply go to www.google.com/alerts and instead of just typing in a word format your alert like this: site:(website) (search term you wish to be alerted on) examples: Site:soundcloud.com Cumbia Site:soundcloud.com...
